CARLSBAD, Calif.—SPY Optic™ today announced a partnership with Protect Our Winters (POW) and SPY Professional Snowboarder David Carrier Porcheron (DCP). DCP’s relationship with POW reaffirms his commitment to promoting environmental consciousness. He is active in a number of POW interests, including its Riders Alliance initiative—an athlete coalition—and Hot Planets/Cool Athletes program—a youth education series administered in conjunction with Alliance for Climate Education (ACE).

Throughout the year, POW rallies the Riders Alliance behind renewable energy initiatives and enterprises designed to heighten awareness of greenness through community education, outreach and action, from local levels to Capitol Hill.
