The Oakley Arctic Challenge Results and Green Efforts

Check out the results and videos from the Oakley Arctic Challenge that took place last week - HERE!

Here's an excerpt from the contest's site outlining their green efforts at this year's contest:

The Oakley Arctic Challenge has made some big improvements in cutting transportation by 16% and making sure more waste is being recycled. This year we have an extra focus on emissions by giving a Climate Promise or “Klimaløfte“. That means we map all aspects of the competition to find out how we can cut emissions in transportation and power consumption. To cooperate with the only Norwegian producer of cars- the electrical car Buddy is a privilege when we work to cut emissions.

The event is Eco-lighthouse certified. This Norwegian standard is a certificate that we take extra environmental considerations in our production. That involves green considerations in how and what we buy, the means of transportation we use, and and how me make sure as much waste as possible is recycled.

We are proud to dress up our crew with a collection of Oakley green items made from organic cotton and recycled polyester.
