Holden Dischord Jacket

The Holden Dischord Snowboard Jacket may be the most sustainable snowboard jacket on the planet.  Holden uses a hemp-fiber fabric to give this jacket total waterproof breathable protection without the environmental harm caused by polyester-based or nylon fabrics. This Holden jacket also includes their cocona (coconut shell based) liner with excellent evaporative cooling, odor absorption, antimicrobial, and UV protective qualities for increased next-to-skin comfort. Holden’s new 3 layer fabric features the award winning c-change laminate (used by BMW’s technical motorcycle wear), a bluesign certified Schoeller technology, meaning it’s made with certified eco-friendly processes and meets strict environmental standards of commitment.  This jacket contains a fluorocarbon-free 80/20 DWR coating which drastically cuts down on harmful emissions emitted by traditional DWR applications. Holden also packages all products in fully biodegradable acetate ethylene bags which take a mere six years to decompose (even w/o sunlight)! Check out this super sustainable jacket at holden.com!
