Outdoor Techonolgy was born and brewed in the heart of LA with roots extending from the Sick Sierras to our north, the little town of Ketchum Idaho, and the plains of the Midwest. With a love all things outdoors and a passion for anything tech, we mixed it up in the not so traditional So Cal action sports tradition and created Outdoor Technology® in 2008. They are the creators of The Yowie®, a soft polyester micro-fiber fabric tube usually worn around the head, neck or over the face where it protects from nature's elements while wicking water from skin. They also make speakers and beanies with built in headphones.
Snowboard Green's favorite products are their Tyvek® wallets and their Stainless steal Project Kaisei water bottle. Tyvek® is an industrial building material valued for its tear-resistant qualities. This 100% recyclable paper wallet looks way cooler than the animal skin in your pocket and lasts just as long.
Outdoor Technoogy understands that we need to break away from our "throw away culture" and begin to reuse and plan for the future. They teamed up with Project Kaisei to produce a co-branded Stainless Steel water bottle to spread information, encourage reuse AND help their efforts directly by donating 8% of every bottle sold directly to Project Kaisei. Project Kaisei is a non-profit organization focused on taking you through a voyage to increase awareness of the scale of marine debris, its impact on our environment, and the solutions for both prevention and clean-up.
